My Story

My name is Lindsay Maloney. I have one little boy and I am married to my best friend. I work from home and I live in a small town. I grew up on a farm and I would move back there in a heartbeat if they could pick up my house and move it there!

I love my life. I feel very blessed to live in my hometown with all of my family around me. I love that my commute to work is just down the stairs in my office. I love that I can keep my son home with me. I love that my husband has a job right across the street from our house. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

In early 2011, I decided it was time to take charge of my life. I just wasn’t happy with myself. Our son’s first year of life was pretty rough and just plain terrible. He went through alot of health issues. As a parent, that really takes a toll. I completely forgot about myself and focused 110% on my son. Which is what needed to be done. Any good parent would have done the same. We finally got all of his health issues sorted out. He was doing great! Finally, I decided, it’s my turn!

I never knew how much fun working out could be until I found my soulmate workout (I now have several!) I started to look forward to working out every day. That was just not me! I couldn’t believe it. It was like something clicked in my head. This is what you need to do to feel good and look good. I have been going strong ever since. I have learned how to eat right, how to take care of myself, how to fuel my body, and how to love myself enough to know that as a busy mom, it is OK to take time out of your day to go do your workout. Sometimes that’s the only ALONE time you can get! Everyone needs that!

I ran my first half marathon September 2012. I have also completed several programs since: TurboFire, ChaLEAN Extreme, Brazil Butt Lift, Insanity, P90X, P90X2, Les Mills Pump, and I run 3-4 times per week. I keep challenging and surprising myself every day. When I first started, I could barely do a jumping jack. Who would have thought! I’m so happy I took this path. A path that I never knew existed for me.

I want to help people see their potential. Everyone deserves to feel great about themselves. Everyone is worth it. Sometimes, all you need is a little push or maybe you’re like me, you have no idea where to start. Well, now I do and I am here to help, motivate, and inspire!

Amazing story! I love that you became a coach so you could pay it forward! Anyone who has you as a coach is very lucky!
