About Sweets n Sweat

I am not a personal trainer. I am not a nutritionist. I am just a mom and a wife trying my best to be the happiest and healthiest I can be. I was brought up to work hard if I want something. So, that’s what I do

I love my family. We are very close. We go to church every Sunday and I am proud to say I am a conservative. And I take offense when people say we have 1950’s views/thoughts. I actually think that I should have been born back then. Maybe I would fit in a bit more with the crowd 🙂

I have an old soul. I love 40’s and 50’s music. I love old movies and classic novels. I am not into trashy reality TV. I could spend hours watching Golden Girls, Frasier, Roseanne, All In The Family, Cosby, and Everybody Loves Raymond. That is how awesome I am.

I love eating healthy, but I will always have a sweet tooth for chocolate, grandmas scotcheroos, gummie bears, chocolate chip banana bread, cookies, etc. I am not perfect. I treat myself and I work hard so I do not ever feel guilty when I do indulge.

I post my thoughts and opinions, workouts, food (I do not post everything I eat), etc. on here. I share what has worked for me and hope it can do the same for you. You learn alot when you lose 80 lb.’s.

There are thousands of blogs like mine out there. If you don’t like my style, just move along. If you love it and you don’t think you could live without it, don’t forget to subscribe and tell all of your fabulous friends.
❤ Lindsay

Hi Lindsay, just came across your blog through your interview with Kate. I love your approach to life. Old fashioned (with a high speed computer) is good!!
