What’s your primary workout? Running.

How long have you been working out? I’ve been active since I was a wee little one; downhill skiing at 3 years old, soccer at 5. I started to work out more as a teenager and into my adulthood. Competitive sports ended around age 20, so roughly 12 years I have been working out.

How often do you work out? I am for 3 – 5 days a week on top of working full time, having a toddler and now baby #2 on the way.

What’s your favorite outfit to Sweat Pink in? Anything that allows me to move well. MEC running pants in the winter with a wicking long sleeved shirt and Running Room jacket.

What’s your favorite healthy snack and meal? I’m a big fan of Coconut Greek yogurt with blueberries or Soy chocolate milk.

If you could have one cheat day where nothing counted against you, what would you eat and do? Nacho’s and potato skins!

What is your biggest motivation to staying fit? My family is my biggest motivator. I want to be healthy for my 2 year old daughter, my husband and baby #2 on the way. Being a positive role model for my children is extremely important to me and helps me stay motivated.

Any advice for the beginners out there? One step at at time. Start moving a little more each day and less sitting. Set simple goals for yourself each week and schedule them at various times throughout the week to match your changing schedule. 

What’s your favorite thing about blogging? Meeting other bloggers and being accountable to my followers. If I talk the talk, I must walk the walk or else I feel like I am failing the focus of my blog.

How do you hope to inspire people? I hope by sharing my story, my life and my goals on my blog may encourage someone else to get moving just a little more and more each day. Life has many challenges but you can work around them, make your health the focus and attend your goal in the end.
