What’s your primary workout?

Lately, it’s been running, but if I had to choose one thing, it would be TRX workouts.

How long have you been working out?

For about fifteen years

How often do you work out?

I try to do 5 days a week, twice a day.

What’s your favorite outfit to Sweat Pink in?

My Lululemon crops and my Fit Approach Ambassador "sweat pink" tank, of course.  Mizuno sneakers.

What’s your favorite healthy snack and meal?

As a snack, I am obsessed with trail mix when I’m on the go, and Greek Yogurt with granola when I’m at work.  For a meal, I make a mean stuffed pepper with turkey meat.

If you could have one cheat day where nothing counted against you, what would you eat and do?

I feel like I have those days more than I should, but my dream cheat day would be to go back to the Rib Cook-off contest in Reno and eat BBQ, have a couple beers and listen to live music in 80 degree heat all day.

What is your biggest motivation to staying fit?

If I wasn’t fit, I wouldn’t be able to do many of the activities that I love, like skiing, rock climbing, hiking, or running races.  Being fit helps me stay active in other areas of my life and gets me away from my desk as much as possible.

Any advice for the beginners out there?

Make time.  Everyone is always busy, but if you make it a priority, you can make time to work out and live a healthy life.

What’s your favorite thing about blogging?

I feel like this comes with a caveat because I have taken a long hiatus from blogging since I’ve been paying more attention to my other social media options, but what I absolutely love about blogging is the feeling that you are connecting other people to each other through your personal experiences.  I like being personal in my blog because your readers get a better sense of who you are and can trust you more if you open up to them.

How do you hope to inspire people?

I feel like I’m always pushing myself and challenging myself when it comes to both fitness and personal growth.  I want people (especially younger women) to look at me and say, "if she can do it, so can I".  That would be the ultimate reward.
